Print a sheet of blank barcodes before race day. On the day, arm the scanner on the Time tab and scan a fresh label: before the race starts you're asked which team it is (you can create the team right there). Once the race is running nothing ever interrupts the finish line — an unknown label stamps its lap immediately and appears under Unassigned laps; assigning it there links that label to the team for the rest of the race. Every later scan records a lap straight away.

Codes are Code 39 (works with any scanner out of the box). Start at # advances automatically after each print so you never print the same label twice.

Data

Clear race data wipes laps & start time but keeps your teams & categories — use it to reset between races. Reset everything also erases teams & categories. Both back up to the cloud. Export a backup before/during the race for safety.
